Club Administration & Membership

Administration:

NSC is governed by our Executive Board who are elected by the members. Member volunteers direct the Club-sanctioned programs and manage the Club's facilities subject to the oversight of the Board.

Membership:

Our membership is capped at a level that ensures that the members can utilize our facilities without overcrowding. Our admission status (capped vs. open) is shown on the Home Page.

A link to our New Application Form is also found on our Home Page. Follow the instructions and mail the application and your initial check (see below for amount). If membership is capped, you will be placed on the waiting list.

Financial Matters:

Current Members:

Annual dues are $400. If you did not fully pay your Land Assessment when you joined, add $50 per year (for the first 5 years). Tax is $45. Total would be $495/year.
A regular member whose total land assessment obligation of $250 is already paid will owe annual dues plus tax of $440/year.
Members who donate 4 hours on/to a Club-sponsored Program or Project will receive a "Chit" which entitles them to a $40 reduction in the above fees.
Senior and Life Members are subject to an alternate fee structure.

Applicants:

Along with your Application, submit an initial Non-Refundable Application Fee of $110 ($100 plus $10 tax). See below for additional fees due if accepted.

Accepted (Voted-In) Applicants / New Members:

Dues to be paid at Vote-in: $400
Processing fee: $100
Land Acquisition Assessment: $250 up front OR $50/year for 5 years
Conn. State Tax: $75 OR $55 (for 5 years if Land Acquisition isn't paid up front)
TOTAL DUE AT VOTE-IN: $825 (if Land Acquisition is paid lump-sum) OR $605 (if only first $50 of Land Acquisition is paid)
