Established in 1954 and incorporated in 1955, the Niantic Sportsmen's Club is located on over 300 forested acres in the Town of East Lyme in Southeastern Connecticut and has a regular membership of 850 men and women.
The club offers multiple educational and competitive programs for both youth and adults, including: archery, black powder, rifle, pistol, skeet, and hunter safety education. See the Program page for details.
Members have access to a wide variety of facilities including indoor and outdoor ranges, a large recently remodeled club house, and a full-service lounge/cafe. See the Facilities page for highlights.
A flourishing youth program introduces students to the safety and ethics of outdoor sports. Educators are experts from the club and the community who utilize state and national certification curricula. Championship-level junior competitors have become well-known throughout the northeast and at national matches.
Social programs include regular dinners appropriate to the season, and weekly, informal get-togethers in the club lounge and hall which are organized by club volunteers.
